…designed for those students (1st grade through teen) who are looking to spend intensive time on several dance techniques ~ Jazz, Ballet, Character Dance, Choreography, Variations, Hip Hop.  Attendees select the Dance Camp specific to their grade group.  Attendance will be for 4 days in a row.  Attendees will need to bring water bottle and a healthy snack; Dance Choreography ~ for 8th grade/teen – learn how one creates dance choreography in ballet, jazz, and other forms and then put their new found skills to work and be able to choreograph with other dancers.    Variations  ~ for teens who are at the Continuing or higher level of ballet, learn the actual choreography of solo's from famous ballets such as Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Coppelia, and Swan Lake. Character Dance (ages 9-12) open to students who have completed Ballet Levels IIB through III – this workshop will allow students to experience a mini taste of daily lessons similar to the world of ballerinas including how to prepare for an audition. With the ballet training, students will have fun learning Character Dance (stylized traditional national dance). .5-FRIDAY PomDance Workshop.. ~ Five-Friday Workshop, (6/27, 7/12, 7/19, 7/26, & 8/2) offers intense training in pom technique and the elements of dance used in pom. It’s a great head start for those students looking to audition for high school dance teams or to improve turns, leaps, kicks and toe touches technique
