Jay Fagan
(Tap)
has been trained by the very best tap dancers in the
business including Gregory Hines, Henry LaTang, Sam
Weber and Savion Glover, to name a few. He is a
nationally and internationally recognized tap Master,
professional dance choreographer, and former co-director
of Especially Tap Chicago (ETC). Jay has
performed all over the world, and most recently
performed with his sister Connie Fagan in Sibling
Rivalry. He spent the 2008-2009 academic year on
staff at Oklahoma City University, Oklahoma City, OK
teaching tap, jazz, and musical theater.

Fagan
(Jazz, Jazz Workout, & Lyrical),
a member of performance Company Same Planet,
Different World, former member of Rhythm ISS,
an all-female tap ensemble, currently dances with Jay
Fagan in Sibling Rivalry.
Jessica Hallam
(Ballet & Pilates/Sculpt)
has a
BFA in Dance – Ballet and Modern emphasis – from
the University of Wisconsin. For the past
several years, she has been in Los Angeles, not only
teaching in various studios, but also working in the
world of television, stage, industrial, print, and music
videos. She is also certified in Pilates in mat and
gyrotronic.
Alicia
Fagan
(Triantafilis),
(poms and modern workshops), has been associated
with the studio for over 20 years, is a graduate of
Columbia College, having majored in Fine
Arts/Dance. In addition to her dance degree, she was
a team member of Sandburg’s EAGLETTES and
Orchesis.
Caitlin Haywood
(Princess Camp)
dance education includes a BFA in Modern and
Jazz Dance from Point Park University,
Dance Masters of America Teacher’s Training, and The
Dance Company in Indianapolis. Her performance
background includes Classical Tap in 3 Movements
(Paul Draper) and Buff Loves Basie Suite (Brenda
Buffalino/Andrea Goodman).
Lauren
Vollinger
(Combo, Ballet, Jazz),
begins her 4th year as an instructor, is a 16-year
student of dance, and is currently attending DePaul
University.
Christa Rivera
(ZUMBA certified), a student of dance for over 20
years and a graduate of Columbia College with a
minor in dance, is well versed in ballet, jazz, modern,
hip hop and jazz, and begins her 5th year teaching at
The Dance Workshop and other area studios.
Teanna Zarro
(Ballet Workshops) received her ballet
training from The Joffrey Ballet School, the
Meredith Baylis American Dance Institute, and The
Pennsylvania Ballet. She was a Company member of
the Joffrey Ballet of Chicago
from 1998 through 2002.
Jai-tee
(Jonathan Thomas) (HipHop) began his dance career
at age 14 with the Crete Monee Cavalier Show Choir.
While at Illinois State University, he added
Modern and Jazz to his repertoire. He perfected his
dance by becoming a member of NOIR Dance Troupe,
at Illinois State and became NOIR’s first
male Master Choreographer. He has appeared on BET’s
106 and Park “Wild Out Wednesday” dance competition
and has performed at Walt Disney World, Grand Ole Opry,
and in Branson. Besides his passion for dance, he’s the
lead singer of his own band and has opened for artists
such as Ginuwine and Jon
B.
